After many months of experimentation and taste-tests, Nustef are proud to announce the introduction of a new flavor for their classic Pizzelle cookie: Dulce de Leche.
Dulce de Leche (Spanish), or Dolce de Leite (in Brazil), is a traditional Latin American flavor that is very similar to caramel. Legend has it that it was created by accident when a pot of sweetened milk was left on the fire too long. Dulce de Leche generally takes the form of a syrup that is poured on cake or even toast, but it is also used as an ingredient in cookies.
